BluGlass Limited (ASX: BLG), a global semiconductor developer pioneering visible lasers, has appointed Non-Executive Director Omer Granit as Executive Chair to lead a refreshed Board during the next phase of commercial growth for the Company.

BluGlass Chair James Walker and Non-Executive Director Stephe Wilks have advised the Board they will not be seeking reappointment at the upcoming AGM; and have resigned with effect from 10 November 2025.

James and Stephe have been instrumental in leading the business from its deep R&D roots as a semiconductor capital equipment IP company into one of Australia’s only vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturers with global operations and full-suite capabilities. During their tenure they appointed laser veteran Jim Haden as CEO, acquired a Silicon Valley laser fab, and launched a suite of high-fidelity visible laser and light amplification products. This momentum has led to growing customer traction and global strategic partnerships with top-tier organisations, including as a member of the US Department of Defense’s Microelectronics Commons, and the Indian Ministry of Defence. Following their long-standing contributions, the business is now primed for the next phase of growth.

Leading the refreshed Board as Executive Chair is recently appointed Director Omer Granit. US-based Omer is a highly experienced entrepreneur, investor, and lawyer with deep capital markets, defence, and technology expertise across the United States, Europe, and Israel.

Omer is also a partner in the New York based investment firm EnPar Capital, a Non-Executive Director and investor of ASX-listed advanced manufacturing company Amaero International Ltd (ASX:3DA), credited with driving strategic investment and initiatives that have materially improved the company’s performance and financial position.

Joining the Board as independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect are commercial barrister and governance specialist Lucy Robb Vujcic; and revenue growth and go-to-market strategist Ata Gokyildirim.

Lucy Robb Vujcic is a commercial barrister and corporate governance specialist with extensive experience across corporate law, defence procurement, government contracting and international arbitration. Before joining the Bar, Lucy was an associate at leading U.S. law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she advised multinational corporations on bilateral investor-state disputes.

A former Non-Executive Director of Amaero International Ltd (ASX:3DA), a U.S.-based ASX-listed company specialising in advanced manufacturing and high-performance materials for the defence, aerospace, nuclear and energy sectors, she oversaw a period of significant growth and commercial traction. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney, a Master of Laws from New York University, and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Ata Gokyildirim is a seasoned commercial executive with extensive hands-on sales, customer and revenue growth, and commercialisation expertise.

In his current role as Chief Revenue Officer at AI technology company Insait IO, he has accelerated market penetration, formed strategic partnerships, and optimised product delivery. He brings a proven track record leading high-growth technology ventures and a deep understanding of complex technology business models, operating environments, and go-to-market strategy from seed through to scale. He was previously the Chair of biotech company Prima BioMed, now Immutep (ASX:IMM); and has held senior executive and consulting roles including at AI-powered regulatory technology companies Forter and Sedric as well as AI platform LoudNClear.

James Walker is being retained by BluGlass in an advisory capacity to oversee strategic Australian programs that are already well advanced. These programs provide significant tactical opportunities that advance the Company‘s commercial roadmaps and technical capabilities.

Commenting on the Board renewal, Omer Granit, said: “BluGlass is primed to become a global leader in visible lasers – critical to the future of defence, aviation, quantum, and next-generation computing. The Company is in a unique position to take share as the US reshores much of its advanced defence and deep-tech manufacturing capabilities. Since joining the Board, I’ve been impressed by the calibre of BluGlass’ team and its cutting-edge laser technology with a diverse pipeline of commercial opportunities across large and growing industries.

“Lucy and Ata bring exceptional leadership and complementary skillsets to continue BluGlass’ transition into a global market player in high-growth strategic industries. Their unique expertise will support fast-paced cross-border growth and help establish strategic partnerships at the highest level.

“I would like to thank James and Stephe for their dedication and invaluable contribution to BluGlass over many years; as they completed the critical pivot from an R&D IP developer to a full-suite vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturer with global traction and strategic partnerships. Importantly, we continue to retain James’ corporate knowledge and industry networks as we look to progress existing programs already in the pipeline.”

With these Director changes Resolutions 2 and 3 are withdrawn and will not be voted upon at the upcoming AGM.

Due to the recent changes to the Board, BluGlass will reconvene the date of the AGM to Monday 24 November; and will release a supplementary AGM Notice of Meeting subsequent to this announcement.
